Smart Boards

In sixth grade, my small private school got a Smart Board on a portable cart, to be shared between the three middle school grades.  My teacher at the time was very interested in technology, and was able to incorporate our science, religion, and vocabulary lessons heavily into our curriculum.  While it was frustrating to have to set up the cart each time because it was not permanently installed, I don’t recall us experiencing many issues with the technology.  We would often have interactive activities and games on the Smart Board, and we would play Jeopardy frequently.

Because my teacher was interested in the new technology, she installed the program onto the computers in our classroom. When we had group projects, we were able to create it to fit onto the smart board template.  This piece of technology definitely enhanced my learning experience!
